Great news! Many of you know we've been working on a Spanish version of CureSearch.org medical content for a while, and now it is ready. Check out the announcement below....
March 17, 2008 (Bethesda, MD) – CureSearch announces the launch of the Spanish language translation of its award-winning website, through a grant awarded by Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC). Specific diagnoses, treatments and side effects through various stages of the childhood cancer journey can now be easily accessed.
CureSearch.org is the premier resource for families of children with cancer, caregivers and clinicians. Initially launched in 2004 as an educational tool for parents, this site provides up-to-date and reliable medical information provided by the Children’s Oncology Group, the world’s largest pediatric cancer research collaborative.
"The real-time availability of essential pediatric cancer information is critical for all of the families we serve,” noted Gregory Reaman, MD, Chair of the Children’s Oncology Group. “This translation bridges the gap of a long-standing language barrier, and empowers these families with information. Now, Spanish-speaking families affected by childhood cancer will have full access to the wealth of clinical knowledge about this disease and its treatments.”
